Classic Car Boot Fair 2025 – Best in Show at Kings Cross
Our first appearance at the legendary Classic Car Boot Fair in Kings Cross was one to remember! Over two vibrant days in 2025, Pinball Alley brought vintage flair and fun to this iconic celebration of retro style, classic cars, and culture.
We set up a full experience with our Hook-a-Duck, High Striker, Lighthouses of Lightning, and of course, Pinball Geoff’s vintage arcade. The atmosphere was electric — with dapper-dressed guests, incredible music, and even a few celebrity appearances.
Geoff represented us proudly with live coverage for BBC London’s Robert Elms Show, plus interviews with leading press. And to top it off… we won Best in Show!
Darkfield Residency at Shoreditch Town Hall – March–April 2025
In spring 2025, Pinball Alley UK partnered with immersive theatre pioneers Darkfield during their multi-media residency at Shoreditch Town Hall. One of the featured audio experiences was titled “Arcade”—so it made perfect sense to bring the real thing to life. We installed a curated selection of vintage and retro arcade machines in the venue's reception area, creating a nostalgic and interactive welcome space that echoed the themes of the show. Our original machines added an authentic layer to the experience, blending seamlessly with Darkfield’s bold, immersive storytelling.
Glastonbury Festival 2025 – Five Years on the Pier
2025 marked our fifth year bringing vintage entertainment to the legendary Glastonbury-on-Sea pier, and it was one of our most exciting appearances yet.
We were thrilled to welcome a visit from Michael Eavis himself, along with Jo Rush and Ale Wreckage, as thousands of festival-goers enjoyed the full Pinball Alley experience.
This year’s lineup included crowd favourites like Hook-a-Duck, our vintage Pinball Alley arcade, the Lighthouses of Lightning buzz wire challenge, and the always-popular One Hit Wonder high striker.
Private Family Party 2025 – Vintage Fun for All Ages
For this intimate private party of 60 guests, we brought classic fairground joy with our High Striker, Hook-a-Duck, Lighthouses of Lightning (giant buzz wire), and a beautifully curated Vintage Penny Arcade.
The event was all about family, fun, and hands-on games that sparked laughter across generations. Due to client confidentiality, we’re unable to share more — but all staff were fully DBS checked, and our team operated under a strict NDA to ensure total privacy.
A perfect example of how our entertainment fits beautifully into smaller, high-trust private events.
Bludfest I 2024 – From Dust to Delight at Yungbluds Festival
What started as a dusty car park in Milton Keynes became a vibrant zone of fun, magic, and pure chaos — thanks to Pinball Alley at BludFest 2024.
We transformed the space into a retro fairground experience with Hook-a-Duck, a full-size High Striker, and a custom-built Coconut Shy — all set to the joyful sounds of Geoff’s traditional fairground organ playing all day long.
Crowds gathered for the antics of Dickie Bingo, and were charmed by the delightful presence of Annie, helping bring personality and energy to the arena.
Woolwich Works – Bank Holiday Arcade Fun, August 2024
Back by popular demand for the second year running, Pinball Alley brought vintage arcade magic to Woolwich Works for the August 2024 Bank Holiday weekend.
Our full setup featured authentic penny arcade machines, classic pinball tables, and crowd-favourite games for all ages. Set inside the stunning venue at the Royal Arsenal, the atmosphere was alive with nostalgia, competition, and family fun.
Glastonbury on Sea Vintage Arcade on the Pier 2024
For Glastonbury Festival 2023, Pinball Alley returned to the legendary Glastonbury-on-Sea pier with a full lineup of vintage madness and hands-on fun.
Festival-goers were treated to our seaside-style Pinball Arcade, classic High Striker, the wildly popular Bingo Dick, and the ever-challenging Giant Buzz Lighthouse — also known as the Lighthouses of Lightning. Even the local police couldn’t resist giving it a go… proving that the steady hand of the law is real!
From laughter and lights to serious buzzes and bell rings, this setup brought retro charm and playful chaos to the nation’s biggest festival.
A Marriage Made in Arcade Heaven – Wedding 2023
When two video game lovers tie the knot, only Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man will do! For this unforgettable 2023 wedding, we brought vintage arcade magic to the celebration — with the iconic arcade power couple taking centre stage.
Our machines didn’t just entertain — they reflected the couple’s shared love of retro gaming and added a personal, playful touch to the big day. Proof that weddings can be both classy and fun, with a blast of nostalgia your guests will never forget.
Hook a Duck Love Story – Brewery Wedding 2023
This unforgettable wedding at Hackney Brewery and High Hill Taproom was packed with character, laughter — and arcades! The bride and groom first played our Hook-a-Duck at Glastonbury Festival the year before and loved it so much, they made it the heart of their wedding entertainment.
We brought the full vintage experience: Hook-a-Duck, Skeeball, and our charming Penny Arcade — all set up throughout the venue for guests to enjoy. It was a perfect match of craft beer, retro games, and a couple who wanted a wedding like no other.

We returned to Glastonbury 3rd year on the pier 5th year as pinball alley and too many years of going and being part of this event we have grown with this festival since 1984
NHL Advert Hoxton Bar
When the NHL needed a retro edge for their promotional shoot in a stylish Hoxton bar (with no lift and a steep staircase!), we brought the muscle, the machines, and the magic.
Our team safely delivered and installed a rebranded custom pinball machine, assisting the design crew in transforming it into the one-of-a-kind “Hockey Knight 4000.”
It was tight. It was heavy. It was worth it.
The result? A slick shoot, a standout machine, and one happy creative team.

February 2020 Birmingham NEC event organisers requested arcade machines with a space theme we supplied 8 pinball machines and 4 table top space themed games.

Geoff now owns close to 300 machines. About 30 or 40 are in pubs around London – the oldest of which, from the ’70s, sits in Walthamstow’s Mirth, Marvel and Maud.

Nothing sums up the quintessential British seaside holiday destination like the resort’s pier.
Joe Rush’s brand new area for Glastonbury Festival 2019 is centered around a 70m re-purposed steel pleasure pier and features everything a good pier should. From its enticing entrance to the end-of-the-pier Robot Pavilion, with arcades, attractions and sideshows along the way.
Working closely with Joe & His amazing team we returned 3rd year to our spiritual home with a real pier & arcade.....

Glastonbury Festival Leftfield Market 2017
Back for a second year and the weather was kinder to us located in market area near Leftfield stage .. The police loved it and we loved them!

Our First year at Glastonbury and to say it went down a storm was making no refence to the weather that year.
We carried the machines through rain mud and we lost our vans to the gods of muddy Glastonbury.
